Two antennas meet on a roof, fall in love and get married. The ceremony wasn't much, but the reception was excellent. |

Flight of the Bumblebees - The Adventure Radio
Society's Flight of the Bumblebees is a sprint held every year on
the last Sunday of July. Portable QRPers are invited to
serve as Bumblebees. The Bees all agree to reach their
operating sites by human power (hiking, biking, canoeing and
kayaking). On Sunday, masses of home-based operators chase the
Bees. To participate from a portable location in the Flight
of the Bumblebees contest you need a Bee Number. You don't
need to be a member to participate. New numbers are assigned
each year. To get this year's number, send an email request
to hjohnc@core.com any time
up to the day before the contest and a number will be buzzed back
to you. For more information on the Adventure Radio Society,
